Supanth's Donation - Mar'10

There are couple of changes for Supanth during past month. I would like to take this opportunity to tell those to the bigger group.

· Rashmi Oke will not be part of Supanth Admin from this month. She has taken that decision to take new opportunities in direct field work. Supanth not being much active in direct field work, does not cater her desire to work directly. She was a big helping hand and founding member of Supath. Many best wishes to her.

· Let me introduce Kshipra Tumne as a new Supanth Admin from this month. She is a longtime maayboli member. Kshipra will be our key link for all those sansthas where we want to give donation. She is very active in social work and she devotes her time to Khelghar. This will help Supanth being in the day to day contact with those sanstha and understand their need a little better. Welcome Kshipra.

· We will be stopping money donations to Niradhar. The main reason being their account are not being audited for last 2 years, that put a stop to give money directly to them, instead we will find an alternate way to help those kids directly like giving cloths, books etc. We will soon come up with a detailed plan on that front.

· This month we have started to donate a new sanstha called “Khelghar”. One of our admins Kshipra, who actively works with Mrs. Shubada Joshi recently published her interview on maayboli.com They need more money during June (school start month), so we plan to give them little more money during June but we will keep giving the monthly donations so they can keep pace with the activities they are undertaking. We started with Rs 5000.

· As usual we donated Rs 5000 to Samtol, which is doing excellent work in Mumbai and Thane.

· We are also collecting money for “Sanyukta”. You will see some transactions with Sanyukta as memo item. This partnership is made for helping them donating money in India. The choice of beneficiary will be Sanyuktas and Supanth will just help to process the money.

We are very pleased to announce that Supanth has completed its Nov-09 & Dec-09 donations together. Kedar Joshi visited Niradhar Bal Sangopan Ashram personally and handed over cheque of Rs 10,000 for Niradhar.

"I have visited to Niradhar Bal sangopan ashram during my visit to take the first hand information. There are around 30 + kids staying in just 2 rooms with not many civic facilities in the home. The ashram is in Dapodi zopadpatti. I met Mayuri, one of the kids living there. She is studying in 8th grade and I was surprised to see that she has scored 76% in the 7th grade living in such environment. Personally I think this is a big achievement and was very glad that we as a team trying to reach out such kids to shape their future. We can’t do much except helping them for food, books and stationary, but hey even that is the most important part in the living!!
I have given a cheque of Rs 10,000 for Niradhar this month which is yet to be cleared and Rs 10,000 for Samtol foundation in the form of e transfer which can be seen in the bank statement. "

सुपंथ - दुरितांचे तिमीर जावो. एक अनोखा मदतगट

'भारतात हे नेहमी असेच असते'! 'भ्रष्टाचार खूपच झालाय!' 'काहीनाही रे, ह्यांना पैसे हवे वर प्रसिध्दीही!'. 'राजकारणी काSSSही करत नाहीत, ही सिस्टीमच बदलायला पाहीजे!' 'गोळ्या घाला साल्यांना!' 'शिका, शिका म्हणावं काही तरी प्रगत देशांकडून ...'अशी वाक्य आपण अनेक ठिकाणी ऐकली आहेत. बरेचदा ते बोलणारेही आपणच असतो, जोशात चार वाक्य फेकली की किती बरं वाटतं. भारत बदललेला सर्वांनाच हवाय, पण कृती करायची म्हटली की होतेच असे नाही. 'करणारे करोत रे, समाजात चार पाच अभय बंग, अवचट,पोद्दार, आमटे, सकपाळ निर्माण होतील आणि जातील आपल्याला काय त्याचे?', अशी आपल्या समाजाची मनोभूमिका झालेय. विचार करा यातून बाहेर पडायला हवय ना! काही करायचं तर आहेच मग आपला मार्ग आपणच शोधायला लागूयात, काय म्हणता? आपण एकत्र येऊन काही तरी नक्कीच करु शकतो. आपला देश बदलायला आपण हातभार लावणार नाहीतर कोण, युनो? नक्कीच नाही. ह्यावर विचार करायला हवा. देश बदललेला सर्वांना हवाय पण वेळ व पैसा द्यायची किती लोकांची तयारी असते? आपण चार लोकं एकत्र आल्यावर सर्व काही बदलेल, आलबेल होईल अशा भ्रमात राहून चालणार नाही, पण निदान चार गरजू लोकांच्या आयुष्यात आपण नक्कीच बदल घडवू शकतो, त्यांना त्यांचे जीवन घडविण्यासाठी आपण खारीचा वाटा नक्कीच देऊ शकतो. ती चार लोक अजून दहाजणांचे जीवन घडवू शकतील आणि ती दहा अजून वीस .. आणि हा क्रम अव्याहत चालू राहू शकेल. आपल्यापैकी बरेच सुस्थितीत आहेत, त्यांच्या सामाजिक जाणीवा अजून जिवंत आहेत, काहीतरी करायची तळमळ आहे पण परिस्थिती, व्यावसायिक आणि कौटुंबिक जबाबदार्या,परदेशातील वास्तव्यामुळे येणार्या भौगोलिक मर्यादा अशा अनेक कारणांमुळे इच्छा असूनही आपण कुठलीही मदत करु शकत नाही. भारतात रहाणार्या कित्येकांची प्रत्यक्ष तसेच आर्थिक योगदान देण्याची तर परदेशातील लोकांची आर्थिक मदत करण्याची क्षमता असते आणि इच्छाही. दरवेळी जेव्हा मदत करण्याचे आवाहन केले जाते तेव्हा हे लोक पुढे होऊन मदत देखील करतात, पण पुढे त्या पैशांचे काय होते, कुठल्या संस्थेला ते पैसे जातात त्यांचा विनियोग कशाप्रकारे केला जातो? असे बरेच प्रश्न अनुत्तरित रहातात. ह्यामुळे बरेच जण तर 'मी दुसर्यांना पैसे देणार नाही कारण पुढे त्याचे काय होते हे मला माहिती नाही, कदाचित लोक मदतीच्या नावाखाली फसवत देखील असतील, सत्पात्री दान होणार नाही म्हणून मी मदत करणार नाही' ह्या मताचे बनतात. अनेकजण सुरुवात तर जोरात करतात पण पुढे कालौघात ह्या गोष्टींचा विसर पडतो कारण आपण स्वत: अनेक गोष्टींमध्ये गुंतलेले असतो. ह्यावर उपाय शोधायला हवा. आजच्या इंटरनेटच्या काळात आपल्या सर्वांच्या ओळखी ह्या इंटरनेटच्या माध्यमातून जास्त होतात, त्यामुळे आम्हीही ह्याच माध्यमातून एका अनोख्या मदत गटाची, फंडाची रचना करु पाहतोय. ह्या संकल्पनेचे स्वरूप पुढे ठेवायचा हा प्रयत्न --

मदतगटाच्या निर्मितीचे उद्देश:

१. ज्या लहान सेवाभावी संस्था अपुर्या निधीसह तळागाळातील लोकांसाठी मदतकार्य करत आहेत परंतु पुरेश्या संसाधनांच्या अभावामुळे आपल्यापर्यन्त पोहोचू शकत नाहीत त्यांच्यासाठी नियमित स्वरुपाचा आर्थिक स्त्रोत निर्माण करण्याचा प्रयत्न करणे.२. सामाजिक बांधिलकीची जाणीव असलेल्या सुस्थितील व्यक्तींना ह्या कार्यात मदत करण्याची संधी उपलब्ध करून देणे आणि मासिक योजनेद्वारे नियमित मदतकार्याचा ओघ निर्माण करणे.

मदतगट कसा ऒळखला जावा?
गरजूंसाठी वाहून घेतलेल्या सामाजिक संस्थांना आर्थिक मदत करणारी आणि त्या मदतीचा सुयोग्य उपयोग होतो आहे ह्याची नियमित पणे चाचणी करणारी संस्था.

फंडाच्या स्वरुपाविषयी--

१. ह्या मदत गटाची वाटचाल पूर्णपणे एकमेकांच्या विश्वासावर आधारीत आहे. पुरेश्या आणि नियमित आर्थिक पाठबळाची खात्री होई पर्यन्त ह्या फंडाची कुठल्याही सरकारी कार्यालयात नोंदणी केली जाणार नाही. भविष्यात नोंदणी भारतात केली जाईल.

२. सर्व पैसे हे एका वैयक्तिक बचत खात्यात जमा होतील (नोंदणीकृत नाही).

३. आर्थिक मदत ही रोखस्वरुपात स्विकारली जाणार नाही. त्या खात्यात पैसे जमा करण्याकरता ई- ट्रान्सफर वा चेक द्यावा लागेल.

४. हे खाते ऑनलाईन असल्यामूळे दरमहा ECH/ACH पध्दतीने देखील मदत देता येईल.

५. संस्थेच्या मदत निधीशिवाय इतर कुठल्याही प्रकारचा खर्च ह्या खात्यामधून केला जाणार नाही. उदा. संस्थेला भेट द्यायला येणारा खर्च हा संबधित सहकारी स्वतःच करेल.

६. दर महिन्याच्या महिन्याला एका ठराविक दिवशी सर्व सहभागी मदतकर्त्यांसाठी त्या खात्याचे सगळे व्यवहार(जमा आणि खर्च) प्रकाशित केले जातील. तसेच ज्या संस्थांना देणगी देण्यात येईल त्यांच्याकडून सगळ्या देणग्यांच्या पावत्या घेऊन त्या दर महा प्रकाशित करण्यात येतील. मदतगट नोंदणीकृत झाल्यावर प्रत्येक देणगीची पावती दिली जाईल.

७. संस्थेला मदत देण्याआधी त्या संस्थेचे कार्य माहिती करुन घेणे अतिशय आवश्यक ठरेल, त्या शिवाय कुठल्याही संस्थेला मदत देण्यात येणार नाही. त्यासाठी काही निकष पुढीलप्रमाणे --

अ. अशा संस्थेची कायदेशीर नोंदणी झाली आहे का?

ब. एखाद्या मोठ्या समाज सेवकाने तिला चांगली संस्था म्हणून घोषित केले आहे काय?

क. त्या संस्थेचे लाभार्थी कॊण आहेत? कोणत्या संस्थाना कधी, किती आणि कशी मदत करायची ह्यासाठी सभासदांची मते विचारात घेतली जातील, अंतिम निर्णय मदत गट चालवणाया विश्वस्त समितीचा असेल

८. सामाजिक शिक्षण, आरोग्यसुविधा, बालसुधार, अपंग मदत,अनाथ सेवा अशा कोणत्याही विषयात सामाजिक काम करणाया संस्थांचा विचार करण्यात येईल.

९. तळमळीने काम करणाया सामाजिक संस्थेस मदत हा मुख्य उद्देश असून प्रसंगानुरुप एखाद्या गरजू व्यक्तिचा(विद्यार्थी,आर्थिक पाठबळ नसलेले रुग्ण) मदतीसाठी विचार करण्यात येईल.

१०. मुख्यत्वे सभासदांकडून नियमित मासिक देणगी घेण्याचा ह्या योजनेचाउद्देश आहे, तरीही एक रकमी,एकावेळी देणगी स्वरुपातील रक्कमही स्विकारली जाईल. कोणताही सभासद मासिक देणगी देणे कधीही सुरु करू अथवा बंद करु शकेल.

मदतगट काय करणार नाही--

१. पुरेसा पैसा किंवा स्त्रोत असलेल्या सामाजिक संस्थांचा विचार करण्यात येणार नाही (उदा. क्राय,गीव्हइंडिया)

२. कुठल्याही धार्मिकप्रचारासाठी अथवा धार्मिक कार्याच्या उद्देशाने स्थापन करण्यात आलेल्या संस्थेला आर्थिक मदत केली जाणार नाही.

३. कोणत्याही राजकीय पक्षाशी अथवा संघटनेशी संबंधित अशा संस्थेला मदत केली जाणार नाही.

४. आपण देणार असलेल्या आर्थिक मदतीमुळे श्क्यतो थेट फायदा होणे अपेक्षित असल्याने स्मारके, जाहिराती, लघुपट, उत्सव, प्रदर्शने यांसारख्या उपक्रमामध्ये तसेच विद्यार्थी गुणगौरव किंवा कुठल्याही प्रोत्साहनपर योजनेत आपला आर्थिक सहभाग नसेल.

५. मुख्यमंत्री मदत निधी, पंत्रप्रधन मदत निधी, दैनिक वर्तमानपत्र (उदा. सकाळ) मदतनिधी ह्या किंवा अशा स्वरुपाच्या फंडांना देणगी दिली जाणार नाही.

हे जितक्या सहज लिहीले तितक्या सहज होणार नाही ह्याची जाणीव आहेच. ह्यासाठी अनेक गोष्टी कराव्या लागतील आणि म्हणूनच ह्यात आम्हाला तुमचा सहभाग हवाय. ज्यांना ज्यांना ह्या मासिक योजनेत सहभागी व्हावेसे वाटते आहे त्यांनी केदार जोशी, प्रशांत उपासनी, रश्मी ओक किंवा सरिता आठवले यांच्याशी संपर्क साधावा. ह्या गटाची नोंदणी जीमेल आणि गुगलगृप्स वर केलेली आहे. संपर्क पत्ता supanth.madagat@gmail.com हा आहे.
ज्यांना काही करायची तळमळ आहे अशा समविचारी लोकांसाठी आम्ही हा एक विचार मांडतोय. आम्ही सुरुवात तर केलीये पण तुम्ही सहभागी झालात तर ही योजना अजून पुढे नेता येऊ शकते. गरज आहे ती फक्त काही पैशांची व थोड्या वेळाची. आपल्या धकाधकीच्या आयुष्यातील केवळ ह्या कामासाठी म्हणून वेगळे काढलेले १ ते २ तास प्रति महिना बरच काही घडवून आणू शकतील.
